Welcome to Ditton Karate Clubs website, the club practises Shotokan karate and was formed over 20 years ago and has run successfully throughout this time.  The current instructors have had an active part in the club since the 1990’s and took over the club in 2004.  The club is part of the Kaizen Karate Association, and is recognised and affiliated to Karate England.

The club caters for a variety of different ages groups and abilities from complete novice through to 3rd Dan Black Belts and is always looking for new members.

Ditton Karate Club currently has a several higher grades to mentor novice students who can work one on one with them until they feel confident enough to integrate in with the main class.  They will be there to help and guide them as long as they feel they need it

Once in the main class any new students will have other students to follow to encourage them to increase their basic knowledge, previously learnt, into further karate skills.  If however they still feel a little uneasy they have the option of having a higher grade encourage and mentor them until such a time that they feel willing and able to ‘go it alone’.

Ditton Karate Club currently has several junior Black Belts whose ages range from fourteen years old and are usually on hand to encourage and mentor any junior novices should they require any assistance.  Ditton Karate Club holds the current record for the youngest Shotokan Karate Black Belt.

As a club Ditton Karate Club currently has five adult black belts, three or which are on hand to instruct.  All adult instructors have been police checked via the Criminal Records Bureau to ensure their suitability to work with minors.

Ditton Karate club have no monthly payments or contracts, so you only pay for when you train. The clubs purpose is to train people in a art of Shotokan Karate in a disciplined but friendly atmosphere.
